The 2025 IFAF European Youth Flag Football Championships presented by Raiffeisen Club Tirol are underway at the Sportanlage Wiesengasse in the Tyrolean capital.

Group games are played on Thursday and Friday, September 4 and 5, with the top two teams in each category advancing to their respective semifinals. The full schedule and scores are available at https://www.flagyouthec.at/ with live streams and replays of games on IFAF.TV.

In the U17 Girls tournament Italy, Finland and Czechia are all unbeaten after the first day of action with 2-0 records. Italy tops Group A having beaten France and Germany, while defending champions Spain and Germany have one win each.

“We got the job done with two wins and so far it has been an amazing tournament, and the hospitality has been great,” said Italian offensive coordinator Davide Rossi. “The food has been good, even if we are Italian and are picky about our food!”

 Bronze medalist in 2024 Finland is ahead of last year’s runner up Czechia on points differential in Group B, while Austria and Great Britain seek a first win.
