Three teams head into the knockout stages of the NFL Flag international games at the Pro Bowl in Orlando with a perfect 3-0 record after Friday’s opening games.
Japan’s Nojima Sagamihara Rise from Tokyo, Mexico’s Bulls Hemingway School, from Coahuila, Saltillo and China’s Shanghai Wolves lead the way in the quest for the 2024 NFL Flag title in Florida.
Japan will take on either the Kingsway Academy (1-2) from the Bahamas or Germany’s Realschule Taufkirchen (1-2) from Munich, with all quarterfinal games beginning at 11.20am ET today. Either Brazil’s Sorocaba Braves (1-2) from São Paulo or New Zealand’s Bader Intermediate from Auckland (0-3) await China. Mexico will face French champions Caïmans (1-2) from Le Mans, or the UK’s Lings Primary School (0-3).
Also playing for a place in the semifinals, Australia’s Varsity College (2-1) from the Gold Coast will take on Nima 2 (2-2) from Accra in Ghana.
