On International Women's Day our member federations from across the globe have taken to social media and the football field to celebrate the role which women play in football and society in general. 'From players, to coaches, to leaders; not only is football what is today because of women, but the promise of tomorrow relies on their full and equal involvement' said IFAF President Pierre Trochet. One event to catch the attention amidst the celebrations is the Camer Football Signature Series event hosted last weekend by the federation in Cameroon. The Event, the eighth hosted by the federation, is a landmark on the calendar as not only do teams compete for the Signature Series Championship but personnel from the federation get involved in a series of national initiatives organised by the government. 'The work undertaken by the President of the federation in Cameroon and his team is fabulous' commented George Alwang'a, IFAF Director for Africa. 'The federation is rightly acknowledged as a leading organisation in the country for contributing to raising the profile of women in sport.' Results from the Event can be found below.
