During the buildup to the 2025 Euro Flag 2025, IFAF has posed three questions to the head coaches of the men’s and women’s teams ranked in the Top Six in the world, who are about to compete for continental glory.

France men’s team head coach Alexandre Laruel has been coaching for the past ten years in club in flag football and several years in American football. This will be his third campaign with the French national team.

What are the goals for your team in this tournament ?

We will approach the competition game by game with the objective to win the next one.

What will be the strengths of your team and which players should we watch for?

We have players with much international experience and strong team chemistry. The player you should watch for is our team's flag bearer, Tanguy Lominet. He will be looking to follow up on a strong campaign from the 2024 IFAF World Championship.

What do you think of the group you have been drawn into?

There will be great competition and we are excited to face these countries.
