U20 USA roster

The 34-man roster that will represent the United States at the 2024 IFAF World Junior Championships in Edmonton features athletes from all corners of the country. Among the athletes traveling to Canada are four-star Notre Dame commit Davion Dixon, uncommitted three-star athlete Bryce Williams and CHSAA 4A First Team All-State specialist Rhett Armstrong.

The quarterback room features several notable faces. Ambidextrous quarterback Mikey Gow, who became a viral sensation in 2022, is making the trip to Canada alongside former 16U U.S. National Team member Aliam Appler, who is training to walk on at Florida Atlantic University.

On Saturday, June 22, USA opens its 2024 challenge against Panama at Commonwealth Stadium in the Alberta capital at 12pm and if former Winnipeg Blue Bombers head coach, Mike Kelly’s squad advances to the semifinals, either Japan or Australia will lie in wait. That clash takes place on Wednesday, June 26, with the medal rounds and the quest for gold settled on Sunday, June 30.

The U.S. National Team has medaled in all previous iterations of the event, including gold medal finishes in 2009 and 2014 and runner-up placements in 2012 and 2016. The U.S. defeated Sweden to finish third in the most recent junior championship in Mexico City in 2018.

Tickets for single games, Canada Passes, and Tournament Passes are now on sale through TicketMaster and from the tournament website https://worldjrfootballchampionships.com.
