The IFAF World Champion United States were honoured at half time during the Cleveland Browns win over the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns staged a ring ceremony where members of the National Team which secured the IFAF World Championship in Vantaa, Finland, earlier this summer received commemorative rings. Callie Brownson, the U.S. Head Coach, welcomed the squad members onto the field to the cheers of the Cleveland fans in the stadium. IFAF President Pierre Trochet welcomed the gesture from the Browns. "The IFAF World Championship this summer exemplified what is great about the game. Thrilling games, teamwork, and a sense of togetherness. It was landmark tournament and IFAF is proud of all those who took part." Trochet continued :The U.S National Team under the leadership of Coach Brownson possessed so many qualities alongside their incredible skill and athleticism. It is a testament to her coaching and management that these were given a platform and the U.S. were able to secure the world title."
