The International Federation of American Football (IFAF) has launched its 2022 Athlete Survey as the organisation seeks to better understand the experience athletes have in international competition and gain an insight into the thoughts of athletes on growing the game worldwide.
The survey aims to give athletes who have competed in sanctioned IFAF games and tournaments the opportunity to share their experiences with the Athlete Commission.
Diana Flores, IFAF Athlete Commission Chair, welcomed the survey's launch. 'At the heart of our sport is the player. As the international federation it is important that we do everything we can to make their experience a rewarding one: allowing them to compete to the best of their ability and to safeguard their wellbeing and interests.'
Flores continued 'Our survey allows us to factor their thoughts into our planning and decision-making processes and to work with our members to deliver for our athletes.'
The survey has been sent to representatives from each federation that has competed in IFAF events in 2022.
