International Federation of American Football (IFAF) issued Maksim Chyhir from Belarus with a four (4) year sanction for an Anti-Doping Rule Violation. The athlete’s urine sample, collected out-of-competition on 30 May 2021, revealed the presence of Metandienone, which is classified as a S1. Anabolic Agents under the WADA Prohibited List. The athlete’s period of ineligibility will conclude on 10 November 2025. Until that time, the Athlete is subject to a prohibition against participation pursuant to Article 10.4.1 of the IFAF Anti- Doping Rules.
