The Papua New Guinea American Football Federation has unveiled the Logo and name of the new National Tackle Football competition. The Kumul Football League (KFL) will launch in November 2022 with four teams. The Papua new Guinea federation has been making big strides lately under the leadership of Timothy Jim. A flag football programme has attracted significant interest and the federation recently received a shipment of equipment donated from groups in the United States. Richard MacLean, IFAF President, said "We are delighted to see the great work being undertaken by the federation in Papua New Guinea. They are working tirelessly to deliver football to the community."
